CAPTOPLASTIC, S.L technology can remove microplastics from the aqueous media as well as to identify and quantify them.
The Microplastics are synthetic plastic particles with a size between 1 µm and less than 5 mm. The widespread presence of microplastics in the environment has become a global environmental concern and a growing problem because of the exponential increase in the production and consumption of plastics. They are considering an emerging pollutant that puts human and ecosystem health at risk.
Based on CAPTOPLASTIC S.L technology, a measurement system is also developed for the identification and quantification of microplastics in water, something fundamental for the standardization of microplastics analysis.
